What is sad to think about is that she is that she isn't the ending point of GOP stupidity and recalcitrance towards science/leadership/public service, she is the beginning. Absolutely. They may have been fooled as to who she really was when they first elected her (like Sinema) but then they saw what she was doing and roughly 66 percent of voters in her district decided to vote to reelect her.

The few people I do see wearing masks have the cotton ones, like with your favorite sport team logo (or something similar), Or the kind medical facilities give away free.  And both usually pulled down from the nose

It is astonishing to me how effective their disbelief about COVID still is after all this time.
Over 1 million people DEAD within a year.  And they still insist that it was all overblown, a hoax, or some sort of gubmint control.

They rail against masks.  They rail against the lockdowns.  They rail against the vaccine.  Yet, the very same people tout horse dewormers and disinfectants as cures and prevention for the disease.  You know that one.  The one that is not dangerous.

First of all - if it wasn't for the masks, vaccines, and YES, the lockdown, there would have been FAR MORE than 1 million dead.  And it if wasn't for their misinformation campaign that was already entirely too prevalent, we might not have even had that many dead.

And now these science denying morons are in control of making policy.  Again.  The same farking morons that were responsible for the deaths of those 1 million.

WHY DO WE LET OUR GOVERNMENT DO THIS?!

These people don't know shiat.  And their misinformation is dangerous to the point of killing people.  There is no amount of "politeness" or "respect" that should allow this to go on.

As I said before, during the height of the pandemic.  Watch out for yourself.  Care for yourself.  Keep away from these farking idiots.  Don't count on our useless, stupid government to handle this in anything like the right manner.

Last term her Boebert and the rest of the Q nuts showed their districts what they were and a bunch were sent back. Last month I heard a voter of Boebert whine about how she was acting and I sat there thinking "You stupid fark you voted twice for her and expected her to change?!"

The potential rehabilitation of MTG from extremist to "ready for prime time" is just fascinating to watch.

On one level it's about trying to normalize radicals in the party.  And that's good for both MTG because it keeps her in a job (and a solid "R" in her district) but it also gives some name recognition to the Far Right.

On another level she has so publicly been radical and overtly wrong and inappropriate that it's hard to see this succeeding unless she does something crazy like get really Centrist really fast, but do so quietly.

The idea that she's a liason to the "Freedom Caucus" is amusing as well.  You'll never find a group of people that will turn on each other faster so the idea that she's going to be some sort of leader among them is hysterical.
