Three compressions and he was revived?

That seems... odd?

Are you sure it wasn't just a giant piece of roast bef? Yes, bef... What you buy there can't legally be called beef.

Arby's is one of the few fast foods I like.  Load that beeyotch up with horsey sauce and hell yeah.

Having said that I don't even know where one is and I eat it less than once every two years.  It's only when i hear someone else is headed there, lol.

Why does Arby's have such a bad reputation?

I would like one of their standard roast beef sandwiches is a relatively healthy fast food option.

Then again, I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

I like their Mozzarella Sticks, they're salty and yummy. Arby's does have some good tastes, but you'll regret it later.

Tangentially - you can use an overcooked curly fry as a spring for your car's suspension, in a pinch.

I thought chest compressions kept the blood going, but a stopped heart needs a shock to start again.  This sounds like bef in the ventricle.

Mostly from people who have never eaten there, and repeat "funny" memes.
I don't know, it's weird.
It's better than most traditional fast food places.

Basic first aid training can be a true life saver.  My dad was eating alone when he started choking on a piece of Outback steak--couldn't breath and was losing consciousness.  One of the waitpersons noticed the situation and gave my dad a quick demonstration of the Heimlich.  I'm convinced it saved his life.

From TFA, the guy had apparently lost consciousness and the quick action of the Arby's person brought him back to consciousness.  If he wasn't breathing and was out cold, there's a pretty good chance he was in the "done for" category.  The young woman likely saved his life.

Whether the act of eating at Arby's may insinuate a death wish, and the action of the Arby's person cheated him out of his wish, is a discussion for another day.

Red Cross offers courses in basic first aid, CPR, and advanced first aid.  The course won't make you an EMT, but what you learn there may allow you to be a real hero to someone.

1. She's kinda cute
2. Arby's isn't any worse than Taco Bell or Cookout.

They've tried hard recently to revamp their image, but after previously being exposed to what can only be described as "beef" bologna smothered in Velveeta, I can never think of Arby's as anything other than revolting.

I don't believe you.
It's just roast beef.
I don't really give a shiat about Arby's, but I hate stupid comedy that isn't funny.

I agree, their food is good. I had a beef and cheddar yesterday. And offering the crinkle fries instead of those nasty curly, spicy things was a good move. That said, DAMN, they are proud of their food. Their prices have gone through the roof. AND I have to make my own drink, get my own napkins and pump my own sauces (ketchup, etc.) into those little containers. I do more work than the damn employees. Which is why I left my empty tray and such on the table when I left yesterday.

I'm on a very low sodium mostly vegan diet and have come to recognize the symptoms of hyponatremia and electrolytic imbalances that goes with it. So about about once a month a I get an Arby's Roast Beef Max and bam, I'm cured. It's basically medicinal at that point like a salt lick for horses.
/as others noted it's way too damn expensive for what it is but so has all fast food become now

Personally, I never got over how they bought the Roy Rogers chain and converted them all to Arby's. Roy Rogers was the superior chain.

If you think an Arbys sandwich is salty, then your memory was wiped clean with the pure saline hell that was a Roy Rogers roast beef sandwich.

They DID have the best bbq sauce though, and that fixins bar.

Hardees bought up most or all the Roy Rogers from Marriott.  It was Arby's that sued the original Robee's chain because their old name sounded too much like Arby's, so they changed it to Roy Rogers and then that kid hit Roy in the face with a pie.

Any company with over a certain amount of employees should have 1st-Aid qualified persons one each shift, at least one, who can perform CPR. There's no reason why several persons on each shift can't be qualified. My Teamsters Union made it a bargaining point during the last negotiations before I retired and I was happy to volunteer for training. I had to do it annually during my Navy career, too. It's not a big deal to spend a half-day (paid) to qualify.

Very regional chain in the Carolina's and Georgia I believe? I always stop at one when traveling down (or back from) Florida as they are super good and inexpensive!
