He must be sequestered away somewhere along with the jokes, period accuracy and likeable characters.

No, no, don't ignore him.

And don't kill him either.

Just say he's in prison. That's all you have to do.

I just watched the first episode.  It was the pilot and had to carry a lot of setup so you have to cut it some slack, but it seemed pretty heavy on the "hey, look at this cameo!" action.

I think the live audience (and I assume the canned response back fill) should have been left out, it meant a lot of unnatural pausing and waiting for the audience to settle down every time they saw another familiar face pop in.

The new actors weren't as bad as I thought they'd be, and the returning actors weren't as good as I thought they'd be.

I have enjoyed the episodes. Big fan of Red and Kitty so I'm willing to give the show time to find it's footing.

Agree with putting Hyde in prison and killing the laugh track.

I've had fun watching the callbacks and find most fitting. Fez was silly and he could have become anything but the choice was hilarious to me.

The fact that the character of Fez is so different from NCIS Special Agent Nicholas Torres speaks to Wilmer's acting ability.

We watched it all last night.  Yes we were bored.

The amazing thing is how much the actor playing Kelso's son looks like Ashton Kutcher did.

I agree about Wilmer. The only other things I know about are Party Monster and Handy Manny. I think he has grown a lot from the first days of Fez.

Or say he went on tour with some band and never came back.

Or he was there all along but his lines were drowned out by the super loud laugh track.

One of the worst shows I've ever watched. That 90s Show made the acting on Saved By the Bell look like The West Wing. I should've taken it as a sign when the first episode took place the day before Bob Ross died

We watched the first few last night. It's okay. Red and Kitty are still fun. Leia does a decent job of being an awkward nerd trying to be cool. The friend group is meh, but getting a little better as the episodes progress.

We binged the whole thing already. It was enjoyable and got better once they stopped throwing cameos at us and let the kids' ensemble develop.
Red and Kitty are great as ever. Did they explain why Red was using a cane in the last 3 eps?
The new neighbor mom could be a substitute character for how the older daughter would have turned out.

Thr neighbor lady ran over Red when he was teaching her to ride a bicycle at the end of episode 6.

He was great in party monster. That was probably a career risk at the time too.

As a big fan of That 70s Show the new one was not good.  Not awful, but closer to awful than to good.  A lot of it just seems so forced and the laugh track was overpowering at times for really bad jokes.  Prepon looks pretty awful and the show just seems off.  Over the run of the original series the same person directed every episode, that person did not return to direct these.  Even the circle looks different.

//Plus the whole sexual assault thing that is played for a laugh

When the 70s show was on, wasn't Fez the one who had the rep for jumping on girls as soon they got off the bus at the Hollywood depot? Him and Scott Baio?

Yes. I think that is true.

Unlike Baio, he seems to have offered mea culpas for being an asshole and seems to have settled down into a fairly normal existence.
