What do you expect? The Ruble is worthless outside of Russia and polonium is extremely expensive. Vlad has to use cheaper methods like gravity poisoning to get rid of politicians that cross him.

Knowing you are a pilot, I know a CAP guy (flew fighters in the AF) and was up on his roof last year. Next thing he knew he was on the ground. Lived without anything major but it was probably close to this same height. Some people just don't know better.

I quit going up on my roof 15 years ago. It's way cheaper in the long run to just pay people to do this stuff.

This is so true. In my younger days I was reckless on a ladder. I'd stand on the top step or next to top and throw my leg over to make a long reach, walk it around from the top, uneven surfaces, whatever. Wouldn't think twice about it. Now I'm much more aware of how much less balance I have. Doing some house work right now and have already had a few close calls.
Also helps that the long time boyfriend of an elderly neighbor just died after a fall from a ladder. That really focuses your attention on the dangers.

That's why my house has Hardyplank siding, Azek trim boards, a 40-year roof and gutter guards.  I'm going to die in this house, not on it.
