Cash was 71 when he recorded Hurt, he died later that year in 2003. Waters is 79.
That means Waters is almost dead in dog years or something. I was told there is no pain your hair receding.
Now I don't know what to believe anymore.

He's not a Putin shill. He hates Putin as much as he hate Trump.

However he has been problematic in relation to the the war in Ukraine.

Roger is anti-war. As in will accept losing in order to stop the fighting. He is advocating giving Putin what he wants to stop people from dying. This far Left position is obviously driven by losing his father in war.

The sad part is that he learned the wrong lesson from his father's death. Sometimes the human cost of war is necessary to make a better world. His dad died so that his son wouldn't grow up under Hitler.

I bought tickets to see Roger Waters last year before he unleashed his stream of hot takes about Ukraine and other assorted topics.  I ended up selling the tickets on Stub Hub at a slight loss because as much as I love Pink Floyd, I wasn't going to be able to stomach this old twat croaking out "Comfortably Numb" in between diatribes.  I have tickets to see Billy Joel with Stevie Nicks in April. I hope to hell they don't release some pro-fascist tweets between now and then.
