OK, I said it as a joke the other day, but it's getting to seem more and more plausible. The Republicans are going to boot him. After that, there will be an investigation, and it will turn out that he is actually a Democrat posing as a Republican in order to make the GOP look bad.

Because people with minor drug crimes don't have partisan hack judges who accept every appeal and delaying tactic until the statute of limitations runs out or at the very least openly help the defense during trial?
