Well, duh.

It's wrestling. Folks who say they're gonna leave forever just take a few months off and then come back with a steel chair ready to go.

Tony Khan must be breathing a sigh of relief as a more willing to work with others WWE, lead by Trips, Steph & Nick (the other wrestling Khan) probably worried him a bit. But with Vince back, this little bit of freedom the talent have had as of late probably is over.

Wonder if he will bring Mandy Rose back? What? It's a totally Vince thing to do.

When this guy finally kicks the bucket I hope to god that they host a WWE event where his body lies in state at the beginning, and ends up getting knocked about until finally being pinned at the exciting conclusion.

He could bring back his Corporation Vince character and play out some storylines like Vintage Trish Stratus.

Totally tone deaf, but so is his return .

Vince McMahon is the perfect heal.

Wasn't he and his family part of the Trump Admin lol wtf when you remember we had a Pro Wrestling Heal President.

Mike Judge might be a prophet, or better yet has a keen understanding of the common clay sort of people. I shall appreciate his library of work a little more.

Well, as of now, he hasn't made comments about taking back over creative (but it makes me wonder how long Trips and Steph have left at their jobs). That said, literally nobody seems to want him back and I suspect that - despite his ownership of a majority stake - that there will be a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of the shareholders to prevent this from happening.

So, old Vinnie Mac thinks he's the only one that can seal the deal for the broadcast rights?

You know what would be hilarious?  If Comcast (USA Network and Peacock streaming, home of WWE "premium live events" as well as the old content from the WWE streaming service) and Disney (owner of Fox Entertainment) just said "No thanks, we don't work with sexual predators" and walked away from the table.

It would be more hilarious if the Women's Division just quit and went off to form their own independent production.

the Fox that airs Smackdown is not owned by Disney. That's still the Murdochs.

Watch NXT. When Triple H had his heart attack, NXT went from a roster filled with competent independent and international wrestlers to roided out beefcake and fake tits.

Vince stepping down was the best thing to happen to the quality of the product. If he takes control over the roster and creative again, then ready yourselves for Community season 6 levels of trash.

Comcast and NBC/Universal should make an offer to buy it all because they own everything else already, and the WWE library would give them a ton of much needed content even without the live events... but Fox just wasted a ton of money on show like Smackdown that despite being available in more households underperformed ratingswise. However, the last time Vince tried to close a major tv deal in the middle east it ended with him getting sued by those who owned stock when they said the deal was close and started dumping stock. It cost him a cool 39 million dollars.

It sounds like Vince basically told the board that as the biggest shareholder, he wouldn't approve a sale if he wasn't involved in it.  The speed at which he pushed this through makes me think he had a handshake deal in place for the sale already and it is to someone who the board wouldn't have been happy dealing with - like KSA.

Yeah, Vince is pissed... and dug up all the Ico/Pro in preparation to take on the monster he created and destroy it if he has to.
