Of course. Because Conservative Nazi Network doesn't have enough pieces of shiat.

Finding out that CNN hired another nazi enthusiast is about as surprising as finding out that water is wet.

2023-01-05 5:47:43 PM
I guess in a way CNN getting all these right wingers deflates any discussion about how CNN is "in the tank" for the Democrats.

The so-called liberal media sure hires a lot of ex-Republicans.

Well now I'm really on the fence about voting for Adam Kinzinger.

It's this or a think tank job down on K Street.  Maybe both, who knows?

Who the fark watches CNN?

So? Didn't the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki do the same god damned thing?

That revolving door isn't partisan ...

2023-01-05 5:55:57 PM
Tucker predicted this like 3 weeks ago. If he didn't get a job at Wal-Mart or Waffle House, CNN was going to hire him.

Epic Fap Session: Who the fark watches CNN?

People stuck at airports.  Their programming changes must be working, because they got a huge ratings boost recently.

I can watch Michael Steele when he is on MSNBC, particularly when he is on ARI.
But I really don't care to listen to Kinzinger.   Also I've never watched CNN.  Thought about it when Psaki signed up though.

So what.

Kinzinger is a jackass for some of his positions. Nobody here is going to argue that.

However.

If CNN is (wrongly) going to insist on the 'both sides' talking heads model, I'd prefer their 'other side' is one of five jackasses from the other side publicly wants to see #45 thrown in jail.

shiatty decision, but it could be worse, and it's probably the best we're going to get.

Peki: The so-called liberal media sure hires a lot of ex-Republicans.

Yes. I've had to explain this to my TFG loving family members, especially about CNN, many times.

Hell, a year or so ago Ben Ferguson was a guest on nearly every weekend show on CNN, doing nothing but interrupting and drowning out everyone with his  endless whataboutism. Haven't seen him on in a while though. But CNN hosts have a poor history when it comes to calling out conservative guests on their obvious BS.

Let me guess... They still, in 2023, refer to it as the Clinton News Network?

Also, Fox News is #1 in the ratings. Referring to "the mainstream media" without talking about themselves would be like Microsoft calling Windows an "underdog" compared to MacOS.

My dad had 1/3 of his large intestine removed in early December. He had a tumor the size of his fist near the cecum. I'm stuck at my parents' house taking care of two disabled people and whatever is on the TV is what I have to listen to.

Out of the people who go out of their way to watch cable TV news, fewer and fewer want to hear from "both sides."

Out of the people who look for multiple sides on an issue, fewer and fewer will go out of their way to watch cable TV news.

Their strategy isn't sustainable.

That's incredibly accurate.

I mostly stick to local independent journalists. They are better at sniffing out breaking news with less commentary than anything on TV.

And the investigative journalism that independents bring is unmatched. You just have to learn to follow trustworthy ones.

Independent journalists are great for in-depth articles, but not easy to find for general news. I'm lucky enough to have a Hearst-owned station in my metro. Hearst stations honestly aren't bad for local and state coverage, at least compared to most "local" stations across the country (especially in the Sinclair age).

For basic national/international news I pretty much stick to AP and Reuters. I figure they're the ones doing the original reporting that gets carried by the cable channels anyway, so why not just stick to the sources?

Here's the thing. There aren't two sides to every story/issue. At least not two sides worth hearing from.

Agreed. I like following individual reporters too, because a lot of them are carried by multiple outlets. If you like their beat, then you're better off following the individual rather than the outlet.

Good for him and us and CNN. Really.

Kinzinger voted to impeach Trump (the 2nd time, sadly not the 1st). Kinzinger joined the Jan 6th committee with Liz Cheney.

We need (relatively) normal Republicans in the news giving an honest view of the Trumpanzees.

Relatively normal Republicans bailed on the party already.

All that remain are fascists.
