Yeah that pissed me off. Pretty classless.

That money grubbing is why I stopped watching for a while. Now I'll watch when my team is on but don't tune in otherwise.

Sort of what you might call a fumble, huh?

Oh yeah, the commercials were not surprising if anyone has been paying attention to NFL broadcast priorities: it's commercials.

The games would be shorter if 30 seconds timeouts weren't 2 minutes because of commercials. Or every change of possession resulting in a 30 second to 2 minute commercial break. Half time has to have a certain number of commercials. NFL network saw to it.

They've decided as long as people tune in, they will keep running commercials.

When you allow accountants to handle day-to-day sports operations, you get nitwits who are more focused on the bottom line than the product itself.

Nobody needed nor wanted 17 regular season games. Nobody needed nor wanted 14-team playoffs. Nobody needed nor wanted 2 teams in LA without seeing if one was sustainable. These things were all about selling shiat for the sake of selling shiat.

My favorite football thing is to be on FARK for 30-40 minutes while recording the game and end up near real time at the end.

The Pat McAfee war with the NFL was funny. The league cave pretty quick.
