The up side is at least it was *only* a single 1st round pick

Its not like they traded up for him and had to burn pick capital *coughtreylancecough*

(Also, in fairness, Favre was playing pretty well in that year with the J E S T _until he tore his biceps_. He couldn't throw for shiat the last half of that year. THAT was why they lost at the end)

The best player on their OL this season is Laken Tomlinson, the former 1st round pick of the Lions that sucked so much they dumped his ass on the 49ers after only 2 years for a lousy 5th round pick. And then the 9ers let him go even after signing him to an extension. The guy is a bum and he's the best they got? Explains everything wrong with the Jets offense.

Option Russell Wilson from the Broncos.  It won't make the team any better, but the fans won't have to buy new WILSON jerseys.  And the Jets do love overpriced, washed-up veteran QBs.

/LOL, like anyone bought WILSON jerseys.

Up next: the Seahawks, who are having a weirdly parallel season to the Jets. Both were 6-3 six games ago, both are 7-8 now. Former Seahawks defensive assistant Robert Saleh squares off against former Jets head coach Pete Carroll and former Jets QB Geno Smith.

"... get the boot in", Subby?
British-like typing in the headline detected.

Geno had to revert to the mean.  The Gods demand it.

That's one stat.

Then the TFA goes on to say this...

First eight games: 13 TD to 3 INT, 19 sacks, 1924 yards, 72.7% completion
The next seven games: 14 TD to 6 INT, 20 sacks, 1962 yards, 68.82% completion.

As if doubling your interceptions and a five point drop in completions was "holding up."

I love Geno.  But he's Geno, and he is always gonna be Geno.
