The only way this could be more 'Murica is if she'd gotten arrested for child endangerment for leaving her daughter unattended at the Christmas show she'd just gotten kicked from.

Going after the liquor licence is pure genius.  There are far stricter rules in place for those, and falling afoul can cost a business hundreds of millions of dollars in lost revenue.

I'm not sure I see the problem

"It was pretty simultaneous, I think, to me, going through the metal detector, that I heard over an intercom or loudspeaker," she told NBC New York. "I heard them say woman with long dark hair and a grey scarf."

"They knew my name before I told them. They knew the firm I was associated with before I told them. And they told me I was not allowed to be there," said Conlon.

Snow Crash always seemed to me like the future of the United States if Libertarianism won and the Government was purposefully dismantled in order to let corporations pursue profits at any cost and without the hinderance of regulations that protected people.

If you keep expanding your enemies list then less and less people will be able to go to your shows thus lowering the overhead for dealing with all of those people.  There is no way that this type of policy will backfire.

What's the end game? MegaCorp wants to disincentivize people from brining personal damage claims by making it difficult for them to find legal representation?  That's not very nice.

I know this is difficult for a lot of people of a certain political demographic to grasp, but sometimes being an asshole simply because you have the right to has further reaching consequences.

A lawsuit she's not involved with, taking place in a state she's not licensed to practice law in, involving a restaurant venue that's not part of the same MSG business unit she was attending a show at. It's not smart. It's petty and vindictive.

Where are pictures of you online?

The facial recognition software usually has a 30-40% accuracy rate, but that's why you contact the individual and confirm identity first.

The amazing thing about surveillance software now is that it goes hand-in-hand with building architecture. Around entrances to venue or property, you create "choke points". Escalators are perfect for this purpose where you corral people together into single-file lines and get them to stand still so that a camera can ID them. Especially where you put mirrors up so that they stare at themselves to check their appearance.

Advanced software will not only flag them but can automatically track them through ceiling cameras as they move about the entire property to let you know where they are at all times.

So did MSG write their own racial recognition software, or did they buy a turn-key security software package?

Better worded than I was going to type. The real key here is that a live entertainment company is, regardless of legality, appearing petty and vindictive. That is not going to help future sales.

King Something: The only way this could be more 'Murica is if she'd gotten arrested for child endangerment for leaving her daughter unattended at the Christmas show she'd just gotten kicked from.

You start with child trafficking and "allow" them to plead down to child endangerment.  Also compare it to the Mexican border crossing policy of separating children from parents for extra outrage points.

The biggest problem with Snow Crash is that it fell into the main problem with any libertarian view of the world - it assumed infrastructure was a self-organizing process of nature, and not something held up by government.  While the government was literally a neutered puppy trapped in the basement, electricity, water, and roads worked perfectly fine and were accessible to all.  If Snow Crash were "real", Hiro wouldn't even be able to press his gas pedal fully to the floor before he would hit a toll booth to the next stretch of shiatty roadbed, and electricity would be so spotty as to be well-nigh absent.  Which would put the Metaverse simply unusable.

Seems more like "while litigation is ongoing we're barring representatives from the law firm involved from entering our properties, once litigation is resolved back to usual".

Though tough to pick a side here - Personal Injury Lawyers vs MegaCorp
