Where do guys find cars at that price?

It doesn't say what condition the car was in when he bought it, nor whether it had an engine / transmission, etc.

I've been toying around turning my 2 seater bar cart onto an ev using golf cart parts. It would be great for parade duty but the weight is a real killer. It's so much easier to throw a new 10hp gas and get it running again than to have to redo all the suspension and brakes to handle all the batteries.

Then I won't be able to load it in the truck by myself either.  So a new trailer? Ugh! I'd really like to convert it just doesn't make sense right now.

I saw an ad for a Miata converted to an EV near me. For cheap because it was before the pandemic. The ad said it needed one new battery pack but it worked. I shoulda went for that. It would be perfect for a fun car.

I'd kill for an 69 Camaro body style on a modern car.

Even ICE version run that high.


It's true, the sky is the limit as to how much one can invest in an engine that one might blow up on it's first visit to the track. But I'm cheap.

As long as the wheelbases are close, it's entirely feasible.  People are doing it with old Charger bodies on new Challenger drivetrains, and old F-150 bodies on newer Crown Victoria drivetrains.  Not sure how the Camaros measure up.

My grandma drove a Plymouth Satellite.....it did have a V8, but yeah
