I'm glad a semi-news organization picked up this Tweet to make the case.  I read this crap on Faux News about how, "...a record number of illegal immigrants was arrest at the border.  Almost 50 percent more than under Donald Trump."  I make the same argument.  So Biden stopped them and TFG didn't?  I don't think I've changed my cat's opinion but maybe Boing Boing can plant the seeds of logic in the one or two Independent voters' heads that happen to read that site.

None of the Republican know what to do. The midterm elections didn't go as planned. Trump is getting indicted for espionage. Sure they got rid of Roe v Wade but it's only made everyone mad at them. The GOP keep doubling down on the lies, screaming the hypocrisy louder but none of it is working anymore. Women and young people are mad as hell and not shy about voting the GOP out of office.

I don't think the Republicans have any plans for the next two years. They're just going to bounce around like tiny balls of rage and get nothing done. Then they'll get kicked out of power in 2024.

All the hand wringing about "What happened at Twitter was election tampering" is part of the Great Deflection as well. Continue whining about something from two years ago that didn't really make the impact they believe to paper over the fact that they have no plan for governing, no workable ideas or solutions and have devolved into grievance mongering because their idiot voting base has been conditioned to respond to it.

Having lived in western CO for 3½ years, I can confirm.  It's more "east Utah".  Very white, very right.  Hell, living in Montana is more diverse.

I had fentanyl for a procedure last month.  I'm dubious about the entertainment value of a drug that makes you take a short afternoon nap.

That makes me even more wary about it being some kind of a national crisis.  If drug users are taking naps, they aren't stealing my catalytic converters.

Let's be clear about the fact that the Republican party does not actually give a shiat about Fentanyl or people croaking from it, except to use as a cudel to bash "Brandon" with. The proof of that is the way drug users and addicts are treating in this wretched country. They harp on it and "the border" because their idiot voting base responds to it, and let's also be honest about the fact that they don't really want the problem solved, either, because it disarms them politically and costs them their campaign point.

Simple math people. Trump stopped X fentanyl which was estimated to be 50%. Under Biden they are stopping 10X which means 10 times is getting through.
