Women and young people voters turned out something like 300% more than usual in an off cycle election.
They're pissed off and not going anywhere. Republicans doubling down on crap like this will just motivate those voters even more.

When I see a rich man's animal off its leash and shiatting all over my country, I don't concern myself with what the animal might be thinking -- how best to get through to the animal, how to compromise with it, the emotional appeals that might perhaps bring the animal to my way of thinking after it's done all the damage it pleased to.

I think about the rich man that isn't doing its job to control its animal -- what interactions I might have with a rich man to see it choose to control its animal, what interactions I might have with a rich man so that other rich men might choose to control their animals.

Growing up in Alabama we have a nickname for those type of females, "doorknob", because everybody gets a turn. I've noticed that the more oppression a child is raised with, the wilder hey seem to become. Forbidden fruit is the most tempting of them all, and the more forbidden it is to someone the more desirable the forbidden fruit becomes.

White straight Christian male property owners are only allowed to vote -- that is Republican future. Women, PoC, LGBTQ+, non-Christian will be relegated to illegal immigrant status and treated accordingly. I see this happening in the next couple decades as America regresses due to lack of education. I hope to be dead by then.

He claims that the program must cease all grants to health providers who do not require patients under age 18 to "obtain parental consent" before receiving Title X-funded medical care.

In other words, he's raising his children in accordance with Christian teaching but doesn't trust them to believe the same myth he does or to be honest with him. Since they might lie about whether or not they're sexually active he needs the law changed for everybody so that his children cannot deceive him.

He has trust in a god he's never met but not in his own children. Sounds like an awesome dad.

No.  That is saying that if you can develop a drug that solves those problems, you're fine with getting rid of birth control.  Which is bullshiat.  A woman should have access to birth control for one and only one reason:  Because fark you, it isn't your godsbedamned business.

Also, ironically the guy who wants us to compromise with activist judges voted for Jill Stein so he at least partially helped give us these activist judges

I wonder what went wrong in those people's childhoods. I once ran into a brigade of religious zealots, that type of men who like their women covered up completely.
It was a hotel bar in Dubai, 20+ years ago. Lots of engineers from everywhere were the one half of the mix, the other were Russian women of the easier kind.
So there I was right in the middle between dozens of horny Arabic, Muslims about to abandon everything they are preaching to others, and Russian prostitutes.

I expect these Republican zealots to be of similar steadfastness as their Muslim brethren. Zealous in public, promiscuous in private.

I am becoming more and more anti-religious these days. If they kept to themselves and didn't try to impose their insane ideology on others it would be one thing, but they're determined to force everyone to live like them.

Just like the Middle East has a fundamentalist Islamist problem, the US had a fundamentalist Christian problem. And they basically want the same damn things.

I realize I'm no authority when it comes to the Constitution, but I was wholly unaware of an explicit constitutional right for parents to "direct the upbringing of their children". Does not feel at all like the intended use of the 14th.
