Yeah it seems to me dark/aged rum would be better in this than white rum

Wow that seems way too creamy.

1 egg
A half handful of sugar
Dash of heavy cream
3 dashes of milk.
Soooo much booze. More cream if more booze to counter curdle.
Spice if want.
Dash of salt?

Immersion blender and its solid. Drink 8 then go to pol tab. Highly recommend.

Too much creamy goodness for me. I like these, moms devastating recipe makes aunties dance...
In a pitcher mix
2 large cans minute made limeade
2 limeade cans water
2 cans white rum
Mix well, put in mason jars with a lid leaving an inch of headspace.
Freeze at least overnight.
Spoon into small cocktail glasses  with a half straw for sipping and garnish with mint leaf and a maraschino cherry if youre going fancy. Theyre powerful enough to make the elder family members dance when they shouldnt be, administer carefully.

I personally prefer assembling my Painkiller in a rocks glass with a cinnamon stick stirrer. I also like to add a float of an oz of Cruzan Blackstrap Rum.

Buy cans of sweetened  condensed milk, evaporated milk, coco Lopez type product, unsweetened coconut milk and an egg or two. Mix together to taste.

This is from the same Time/Life cookbook. It is delicious and it's hard to beat the tropical presentation of drinking out of a coconut.

Sky Juice

A "peeled" thai young coconut from the grocery store can also be "opened" by tapping a chefs knife around the eyes.

But anyone who's ever injured themselves cutting an avocado or a bagel in half should NOT attempt this maneuver!

When I'm drinking holiday nog for one I go for a rum flip:

2 oz golden/dark rum (you're gonna taste it, so don't use total crap)
1/4 to 1/2 oz demerara syrup 1:1
1 egg
(optional) heavy cream if you want to die even sooner 1/4 to 1 oz but really doesn't need it

Dry shake, add ice, shake again, double strain, top with nutmeg.

I'm also batching some aged eggnog for friends over Christmas/New Years
