Laura Loomer is the same as Jack Wohl: they're both stupid and terrible, but their attempts at evil are hilarious because they're complete failures that end up being self-owns in most cases. It'd be great if they both vanished entirely but hopefully it'll at least be good for a laugh the next time Laura chains herself to Twitter's front door or whatever dumbass stunt she does next.

Roger Stone can FRO and DIAF though. Dude's hilariously stupid but he's legit dangerous and it's not worth the lulz to keep him around.

There is a reason their accounts were suspended and eventually one of them will say something which will blow up in Elon's face. Considering the nation's response to the radicalization of the GOP in the midterms, actually getting the message of these hate mongers out again might not have the effect Elon and the Nazis whose accounts he reinstated thought they would get.

That doesn't really matter. He's pissed off the EU, and keeps waving his dick at US government agencies too, like the ones that fined Facebook a couple billion not long ago. He's in debt up to his eyeballs because he overpaid so badly for Twitter, and the main source of his wealth, Tesla stock, is dropping pretty steadily (and since it's getting real competition in the EV market, it's unlikely to stop dropping for a while).

He has a lot of money, yes, but he's also messing around with some of the very few forces that can fark with that kind of money.

If my understanding is correct the EU has some fairly strict hate speech rules. Now that Musk has fired his moderators and let the clowns back in he could be looking at twitter being banned over there.  That'll certainly do wonders for his advertising revenue.

Tesla would be far better without him.  Maybe then they could actually design cars that don't look like generic Mazda knockoffs and not get involved in ridiculous projects like the Cybertruck.

I've never pissed away $44B before. I wonder if it's fun. According to Bloomberg, his net worth has dropped $100B in the last year and he is now the second richest. That has to sting a little. Tesla's stock now has a sell rating, with demand for vehicles falling. He's still stupid rich and still retains the title of CEO at Tesla - for now. The Board is naming possible successors, but not because they plan on replacing him. At least, not yet.

I just block them and carry on with my crowd. I am not ready to throw the baby out with the bathwater yet. But I also follow many of my same favorites on Mastodon, set up now as a back up. It would be an easy switch. The pols I follow aren't there yet, though. I am still getting a lot of breaking news on the twit.

Say what you will about Twitter.  And there is a lot to say.  But it was also the only form of communication for many people in the world.  People who have no means now.  That goes a lot for within this country too.

Every single thing he did since he took over that company has been to drive it into the ground.  I get that he wanted to make the platform somehow better than it was.  But every decision he has made has had the exact opposite effect.

And he simply refuses to acknowledge his mistakes.  Refuses to take steps to correct them.

It's going to be a shame when Twitter finally dies.  But at least it will drag Musk down with it.

Elon's having a great time with Twitter. He fired everyone who told him how the company actually functions, unleashed a flood of toxic hate on his user community and has driven away his top advertisers.
But what's really important is that Elon Musk sure showed those liberals who's in charge. And all it cost him was $44 billion dollars and his reputation.

Maybe not survive. Letting Ford and GM beat them to market with electric pickup trucks that look like something truck owners would actually buy was a pretty bad blunder.

However, I could see Tesla getting bought out by someone, but only if they drop Hairplugs McEdgelord PDQ. The longer they keep him, the more the company's imagesolidifies as the preferred car of an insecure, spoiled, socially inept manchild going through the world's most public midlife crisis.

Tesla's profit margin per vehicle sold is something like 9:1, compared to Toyota or VW.

Not all internet is available in all places.  Not all platforms either.  And sometimes the government monitors it.
So, it's not as simple as you make it sound.

Most people outside the US us Twitter or WhatsApp for all manner of things for lack of any alternative.

When Musk fired those people, many of them were the ones that kept up the international versions of the site.  And they have no gone down.

I don't have citations for any of this other than a couple of YouTube videos.  But we all know, if it's on the internet it must be true.   It's the law.

There is another reason entirely that Tesla board needs to get rid of ManChild v2.0 as soon as possible like yesterday. As the face of Tesla he has for years sold a lot of bulls**t that he has become just like the little boy who cried wolf. You can now make the joke "do you know when Elmo is lying, his mouth his moving". One thing for a political POS, quite another for a CEO to basically be PT Barnum.

We have reached the point where people in the market for a car, in the market for an EV are actively avoiding this one particular brand just because of the CEO. I can not think of any car company that has equally toxic CEO. Nobody is going to avoid BMW, VW, Ford, etc just because of their CEO.  He is destroying the company, and the brand all from within.
