Well, at least the kids will have their own bubble stories to tell now. Of course, they probably make up some ridiculous portmanteau for it and claim it's a newly discovered phenomenom that has never happened before.

Which I find surprising. I forget what the service offer was now, but some financial institution suggested I set up some integration via Plaid. And that appeared to call for giving Plaid my account ID and password. WTF? And more than that, the fine print indicated they were allowed full access to all data available with those credentials, for marketing and other consumer tracking purposes.

I can see a place for a common system where account holders can generate a token with limited access to account information by a 3rd party. But a plain old "give your password to this 3rd party, what could go wrong" was a hard stop for me.

Once again, a social media company (and that's what this company is) is failing.

Meanwhile, other companies are hiring like mad.

It's another story to try and drag down wages. Because paying people is anti-capitalism.
