But really, who ever thought the world could be described with math!  Crazy!

Sure it's everywhere, and I think even some examples in the article are bad examples, but let's not pretend that it belongs everywhere.

I was told there would be no math.

It's not that great. Useful in a few designs, but a btich to implement.

All right, I am sick of this "golden ratio is visually appealing" bullshjt.  Every article about Fibonacci and/or golden ration assert that it's a ratio that appears all the time in design like it's a universal law of nature or something, and it's just not true, and it's subjective whether you find the ratio appealing.

Personally, I don't find the golden ratio visually appealing at all.  It's boring.  I prefer something between golden ration and 2:1.

I don't see it in these examples.

It's a nice video, especially the music. But it cheats on the math; a nautilus doesn't actually follow the Fibonacci curve.

They're really stretching to make it fit in some of those examples.

Trying to apply the Golden Ration to people is weird. According to this article Jodie Comer most closely matches the ratio. Then this site manipulates celebrity faces to try to meet the ratio. Rihanna and Zendaya look pretty close.

I laughed at the Real vs. Ideal.  Ideal?  It looks like most people were harmed by the application.
