Okay. Sounds good to me.

2022-12-07 2:26:58 AM
Why do Republicans hate the military and therefore America?

2022-12-07 2:28:44 AM
Glad all of my Republican relatives died before all of this nonsense, it would've killed them.

/ All the dreams they had all dead.

2022-12-07 2:30:46 AM
No. Don't. Stop. Please no. Why would you? How dare.

I guess even he doesn't listen to himself.

'We don't have enough new recruits in the military!  So we need to get rid of vaccine requirements, and get more of those unhealthy, disobedient people into uniform who will spread disease!'

I don't know how good of a job the VA does treating soldiers with PTSD these days but sadly we might find out if that funding gets yoinked and they all go off their meds at once.

2022-12-07 2:34:11 AM
Okay Jan. You might not even be the speaker ... farking traitor

2022-12-07 2:35:39 AM
Just when I thought Kevin couldn't get stupider, he "...insisted it was important for more military men and women to sign up in order to patrol the southern border"

2022-12-07 2:44:07 AM
F*ck it. I give up and want to profit from the evil. Someone connect me with the GOP money machine.

I need investment for start up to import a bunch of crappy wrenches from China, silk screen them with various GOP/Q syle nonsense and sell them to idiots so they TOO can feel like they are petulantly tossing them into the gears of society.

Or have they gotten too stupid to even get that premise?

So the GQP wants to kill soldiers without them having the benefit of meeting human enemies. I'm guessing those who die from COVID won't be buried in Arlington.

mybluemake: He is on bed with Big Casket, and Big Farm Pharma, or something?

No, you heard wrong. Big Casket, and pig farmers. What do you think they'll do with all the bodies?

George Washington mandated his troops be inoculated against smallpox, even though the mortality rate of  inoculation was 2%. Otherwise, smallpox had a mortality rate of 14%, and it would have spread like wildfire through the military camps.

He said that "d" word that gets Republicans so angry.

Wow, 2023 is going to be such a political shaitshow.

2022-12-07 3:03:03 AM
Support our troops, right Kev?

2022-12-07 3:08:19 AM
Blackburn went on to insinuate that the vaccine is "not like" any other well-known vaccinations, like the one for polio, but didn't elaborate. Members of the U.S. armed forces notably receive an extensive array of vaccinations before they are able to serve.

Let me guess:  it's different because you've politicized the shiat out of it and made spite and ignorance your central core values, and admitting you're wrong at this point is tantamount to insulting His Orange Corpulence and therefore unthinkable because Republicans have all the integrity of a rotten sack of moldy assholes.

Absolute garbage people.

I thought that available vaccinations were always mandatory for the military. A lot of the vaccines that are recommended for anyone traveling to Africa or Asia often have some nasty side effects but you never heard the Republicans whining about those.

Recruit:  Sir, I want to join the military but I'm afraid of a vaccination.  I'm a scared little Conservative pussy as we all know every single Consevative is.  There are literally thousands like me who would join the military if only you could tell the mean doctors not to hurt is with a needle.

Military:That rule was just lifted.  You're now safe and free. Now become my b*tch and go get ridden with bullets and shrapnel and breathe in the burn pits and drink the water at Camp Lejeune and come home with PTSD.  You'll dive to the ground and sob every time a car backfires.

/Doesn't track, Liar McCarthy

McCarthy quote FTFA"Why would you not wait. Why would you want to work on anything if we have the gavel inside Congress. Wait till we are in charge."

Isn't this worse of the "quiet quitting" (AKA "doing the minimum required") that people like him keep biatching about?

I don't remember McCarthy getting the votes to be house leader. Did I miss it?

The Antonine Plague is generally considered to be the pivotal event that ended the Pax Romana and began the long, slow decline of Rome into collapse and ruin.

It was spread fastest -- hint hint, Kevin -- through the army.

Your major contributors are defense contractors and your plan is to threaten these people who make bombs and guns?

Good luck.

/I think everyone knows I'm for slashing the defense budget but this is just hysterical. These people are truly, truly stupid.

Should that be America's job?  Do other nations all pay us for it, or are they free-riding?

He "didnt elaborate" because the farkin reporter "didnt follow up with an obvious question."

We love the military. Also we will only fund the PMC's who take us out to expensive dinners. fark the troops.

I used to say that Republicans hate democracy. Now I can add that they hate the military.

2022-12-07 4:19:56 AM

At this point, admitting it is also admitting THEY were wrong.  In some cases they've already chucked Two Scoops, but they've painted themselves into the antivax corner and admitting you were wrong is weakness so...

/most of it's just plain old fashioned asshole self-interest at this point
//not only that, they'd lose followers with the lunatics for admitting it
///and all their followers ARE the lunatics
////they've REALLY painted themselves into that corner - poor babies

If antivaxers don't want to join, good. It's like an IQ test except we'll call it an anti-Q test.

Go on. Let's see what happens.

There's a dual purpose, of course. First it extends the US's sphere of influence and allows us to project force. Second the other country presumably gains some level of protection from the US military. The latter then can be thought of as for the benefit of the world, while giving us something in return. E.g., signals intelligence on missile launches via Pine Gap.

If Kevin is a bought-and-paid-for agent of the Kremlin, then this is exactly his agenda.

People should take the lesson of Geston's Lords of the Starship.

Yeah, I'd like to see him touch one bright shiny nickel of the funding for the military-industrial complex. That'd be just a delightful way to maintain hegemony. I'm sure they'd provide his choice of resignation: sex scandal, influence peddling, or dead intern.

Too many people saw his tool because of Elon's Twitterbidengate and now they're like "yeah, I'd show that to everyone too".

mybluemake: He is on bed with Big Casket, and Big Farm Pharma, or something?

The GQP have fully embraced death panels.  And their elected officials can't hear you over the deafening cheers and clapping of their base.
The question for Quevin is why stop there?  Just allow soldiers and sailors to opt out of all vaccines, body armor, safety training, etc.
Anyhoo, there is no way $0.01 is being cut.  Quevin is a craven moron.  I am looking forward to the barrage of bills to cut Medicare and social security for GenX and younger, as well as more theocratic nonsense.
