There's a lot more to be made in the $100/month self help guru app that's all smoke and mirrors.

Nah, microtransactions. You don't just give people self-help, (Actually, can you even give that?) you make them earn it through an unfathomable number of $5 gacha rolls for the optimal fortune cookie.

Someone needs to tell Musk this so he can sell a MegaTwitter app. Same as regular Twitter but it's a different color and has an always-on feed directly from Musk himself.

There are still ads, and you still have to pay for the checkmark, but now it's MAGA red instead of blue.

He'll make his Twitter money back in no time.

It's not bribery if they get a small image file of a monkey in return though, so make sure the app does that at least.

I'll not have you besmirch the good name of money laundering by bringing the spectre of bribery into it.

honestly it seems more like they're facilitating wire fraud.  how many times a month is this going to happen?

"Hello, Mr Smith?  This is Agent Jones from the IRS.  You have been audited and have many thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes.  I am authorized to send police to arrest you right now unless you immediately make  payment on this debt.  But do not panic!  We have a new payment system you can access right from your phone..."
