Officer Sicknick's older brother is an old friend and fraternity brother of mine from college.  I haven't seen him in years but we touch base a bit on Facebook.  it's been hard to see what he and his family have gone through with all of this. it's a good family, they're very nice people, and they deserved a full Congressional investigation into what happened on January 6th.  and because of politics - the GOP filibustered the motion and the Sicknick's did not get the investigation they deserved:

21 House Nazis voted against giving the medals.

The Georgia she-Nazi says she voted against it because it referred to Jan 6th as an "insurrection." Which of course it was.

I can only hope that when danger comes, the capitol police fail to protect those 21 Nazis.
