Check out these guys that don't leave for work before it's daylight

My car is parked on the north side of my house so I would have to wait until never for the sun to burn off the frost. That being said, I'm usually at work for an hour before the sun comes up this time of year so it wouldn't matter to me.

I'm not rubbing an onion all over my car, that's stupid.

If you work first shift. Park facing west.

I'm just waiting for one of the resident writers to tell us this is just a piece for filler

Makes sense...I would do that myself, but I don't think I can park my car sideways in the garage.

Nah, it's a test of ChatGPT's ability to write stupid tabloid articles.

The level of effort people exert to save themselves minor effort is amusing.

How many days away are we from the first story about someone getting shot because they removed a parking cone or folding chair from someone's "spot" and parked there?

This time of year? Sunrise is a little before 8 am (GMT) in London, and it sets a little before 4 pm.

I have a windshield cover for those rare days it actually gets below freezing here and I have to go in to work, problem is I have to remember to put it on the night before.

Sounds like an end of times thing. On judgment day Gideon will sound his trumpet and the faithful will drive East. Those attempting a three point turn and blocking traffic will be sent to the pit.

It'll make it easier to see the progress you are making with the scraper.

Weather isn't climate dummy, but my guess is you don't know or care about the difference. Global warming (or rather - climate change) doesn't mean it's hotter or colder necessarily, but it does mean that the extremes are worse and happen more regularly. Climate change is upsetting the upper atmosphere and changing the dynamics of weather, additionally heat = energy, so as the globe warms, storms will have more overall energy to work with.

99.9% of all meteorologists and scientists trust the data on this phenomenon, maybe you should join the rest of the world and wake the fark up.

What's that in real temperature? For all I know, -25 C could be 45 degrees.

Real temp?

Um, approx 5% of the worlds population uses imperial. Imperial is defined by metric measurements. Fahrenheit is  just metric with more steps. Metric makes way more sense, 0 water freezes, 100 it boils, easy peasy.

But it's -15 f, -27 f with the windchill.

At that latitude in winter?  Must be a short shift.

I didn't plan it, but I'm glad my house is on the sunny side of the street, the snow melts quickly in the sun. Unlike across the street, there was still snow for days in front of their house and they never clear the sidewalk.

Imperial as it pertains to weather temperature is the superior method of recording temps. It more clearly describes the effect on the body. E.g. 100F is very hot, 0F is very cold.

Celsius is best for anything that requires knowing when water boils.

I agree metric for everything else, but people don't realize how expensive it would be. Every, single, road sign that mentions "miles". Every piece of food packaging. How many computers and computations that would need to be changed from satellites to water pumps. It's just not feasible for America anymore.
