It's kind of that guy's job to dissect things so they seem funny or absurd.

Yes, as the greenhouse gets hotter and his coal eyes run down his cheeks and his carrot nose
drops to the floor and his tortured screams just becomes slushy gurgles.

/also too when the Peanuts kids talk Charlie Brown down from a suicide attempt.

And he's good at it...now.  It's funny to go back to his first pitch meetings and see just how flat and monotone both characters were.  It's like watching somebody read a technical manual.

The magic, and thus the sentience, is in the hat. We think 'Oh, frosty melted...' no. The current host  became unsuitable and the animating spirit returned to its phylactery.

Presumably, it's just waiting for the hat to land on a vessel worthy of the song that ends the world. Look at the power it has on a simple snow golem. Could you imagine the power it would command on something truly powerful?

resident dystopian: when the Peanuts kids talk Charlie Brown down from a suicide attempt.

The only reason they did that is so they could torment him some more.

Throw that hat on a pile of depleted uranium pellets and you'd have some real fun.

Heh yes. I remember sending one or two to friends or family, thinking they were hilarious. They'd message back with a "wtf is this?:

He's the only one of those sorts of critics I can tolerate. Usually doing this sort of thing is where someone brags they are smart for understanding basic physics or storytelling, but pretends it's their way of enjoying it. They generally look miserable at all times.

I love his stuff like this where he dissects everyday stuff. I just can't get into Pitch Meetings for some reason, maybe that he just seems to treat both good and bad movies with equal amounts of scorn. I much prefer Honest Trailers, myself.

/So of course the only Honest Trailer to get greenlit recently was the weakest and most nitpicky one they've done in years.

I'm surprised they didn't get into the whole "Thumpitty, thump, thump" aspect of Frosty. They briefly asked "What limbs?" and then changed the subject before getting into the weird aspect of how he just apparently hops around with a "thump."

I only watch frosty for that one frame where Karen flashes her hoo-ha.

/seriously, they had to animate that frame.  how's that make it in?

I not posting it here just in case, and you can argue she's wearing tights...  tights the exact same color as her flesh.
