Read TFA, subby. I think these nerds are saying that she wasn't at Stark's funeral (spoilers) in Endgame so they assumed there were some time travel shenanigans and she didn't exist in that timeline. Or something.

Yeah, subby is apparently incapable of reading the written word, but is a crack shot at getting the green.

Here are those words that dumbmitter missed:
After the battle, she leaves, with her absence remaining unexplained. In the Iron Man funeral scene, which features practically every Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) character, Gamora is not present.

Actually, Subby is right. According to the article, there were some fans who literally were asking how could Gamora be still alive in Guardian of the Galaxy 3.  Case in point:

"Can someone explain to me how Gamora is still alive?" one viewer asked, with another adding: "I swear I mourned Gamora dying, what the hell is she doing here."

How could these people ask this question unless they had not seen Avengers: Endgame.

I'm still hoping we see a Nebula restoration. May be harder to pull off without the Infinity Stones, but I'm sure it's easy enough to find some hand-wavey magic or tech way to do it. Then goodbye green alien hottie and hello blue alien hottie.

There was a few minutes of plot in Endgame that was used to explain that those sacrificed for the soul stone could not be snapped back. I don't recall seeing Gamora in the final fight, but it seems like a cop-out to bring her back

~4 yo spoiler - This is the evil Gamora from a different timeline that came back  into "our" timeline with Thanos and his army (after "our" Thanos had been decapitated by Thor, Gamora sacrificed for the soul stone). The evil Nebula alerted and transported Thanos. Evil Nebula was killed by "our" Nebula.
/just like "our Gamora and Nebula" changed to the good side, the hope and assumption is that this Gamora will do the same, probs without feelings for Quill. She would've died with Thanos if shw were 100% evil

Right, forgot about the timey-wimey stuff. So presumably they returned her to 2014 when the infinity stones were returned, and this was not shown on screen bc it is dull and this isn't a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Therefore she was not at the funeral bc 2019 Gamora is still dead

Gamora 2014 had no attachment to Tony and may or may not have viewed everyone there with suspicion.

Even if she was ready to flip why the hell would she go to his funeral? She didn't know him or anyone else there other than Nebula, who wasn't HER Nebula.

Endgame made it pretty clear she was confused as hell and bailed out fast. The only way she wouldn't be there would be if Tony's snap wished her to the cornfield. I'm assuming his thought was "everyone who's on Thanos' side" or "Thanos and his army" neither of which she qualified for at the time.

It's best not to worry about the time travel 'rules'. If they put the stones back properly, they erased all the deviant timelines (that Thanos 2.0 and gang came from one of). Plus Kang and Co. now give an out to anything else that doesn't make sense. Gamora 2.0 is supposed to be there... because: reasons...

They didn't show Gamora returning to 2014 because they didn't return her to 2014. She noped out of there before the end of the battle. Plus it wouldn't be worth the effort to track her down and return her to a timeline that is irrevocably changed (not like they could return Thanos and his army).

Yeah, so really she should have been snatched up by the Time Variance Authority and gotten pruned in order to maintain the sacred timeline.

I don't even remember what happened in those movies... heck I don't even remember if I saw them both. They are extraordinarily forgettable. All of the Avengers/Iron Man/Thor movies are.

It's like watching the same movie over and over and over with the locations and villain names changing. Reminds me of James Bond or Impossible Mission films.

well there are plenty of seats at the art house theater so you need not miss out on the incomprehensible, post-industrial, B&W, German, anti-transcendentalist, 8mm films.

no problem.  i really don't understand why people complain about the formulaic Marvel movies when the rom-com is by far the most tread-worn, tired, entirely predictable movie construct and they've been around for many a decade.  the only other movie trope that i can think approaches that level of "again? really?" is every gangster movie Martin Scorsese has ever made.

I don't know, I'm just saying according to TFA, it wasn't because they haven't seen Endgame. Even common sense would tell you that someone so invested in the series would have seen the concluding chapter.

They weren't erased, just restored to their infinity-stone connected path.

The timeline Endgame Thanos, Endgame Gamora, and all the rest came from still exists, it just continues on from 2014 without Thanos and his army.
