'Bad' bacteria is a nonsense statement. Every human is covered in staph and has e. Coli in their gut yet those can both be very dangerous.

There are already microbes that exist by consuming petroleum.  How long until some of these evolve a taste for these plastics?  Should be great because it will solve this problem, but I'm imagine there will be a whole new set of issues to deal with.

/we should consume less plastic and recycle more of what we do consume.
