The Archdiocese of Omaha described the note as "threatening," but did not give further details. They said the author of the note claimed to represent a group called Jane's Revenge, which is often described as an extremist abortion rights group.

Jane's Revenge may or may not exist. Catholic Archdioceses (not sure what the plural of that is) on the other hands have repeatedly lied about and covered up some pretty horrific acts all around the world. I'm not accepting their word on this incident, if it ever occurred.

There is a threat, according to the people being threatened...
«The Newman Center and the UNO campus are still under normal operations.»
Oh but business as usual.

It might have been the antifa organization pretending to be them.

I have an exact match, so I play my draw four out out-of-turn. Now the player downwind of me has to draw eight.

I loved that deep dish / casserole pizza franchise when it was in Fargo... before it was mismanaged into the ground.
Restaurants are hard, though.

Leaking of the Dobbs decision should have produced more threats and faster.  In fact the desired reaction to the wholesale gutting of Roe went the wrong way and focused on voting instead of rioting.

This one very likely does, I may have come across members years ago

There are 'Christian activists' in Omaha who like to rescue and save women at clinics and other areas but they do it their way because they do not like to follow the law's way

Yeah your churches should be burned and your clergy should be hanged.

Not sure I've understood you. Janes Revenge, if it exists, supports abortion rights in a (for want of a better word) militant way. It's just as likely it doesn't exist and its activities are fabricated by anti-abortion dickheads to drum up sympathy because they're the "real victims", in their minds at least.

A note was found on the door of a Catholic church?  I think we know where to start this investigation.  Round up the Lutherans!

Maybe Jane is addicted to revenge and needs help. Anyone think about that?

They released the text of the note:

"I'm done with Sergio. He treats me like a rag doll."

Jane's revenge is pro abortion rights groups though. They WANT abortion clinics open not "rescuing" any women from them.

Janes Revenge is a straw-man pseudo-group of anti-abortion extremists, almost exactly like Antifa and Deep State are straw-man arms of the Trump Organization, possibly originated by the same people.

The Evangelicals and White-supremacists are realizing they've overplayed their hands during the Trump years. The smarter ones realized it with the leaking of the Dobbs decision by one of the dumber ones, one not just drinking the Flavoraid, but probably snorting it as well. The dumber ones caught on with the November 8 dissipation of the expected red tsunami, and by now all should have caught on with this little steaming nugget dropped yesterday:

I expect several more events attempting to be 'revolution starters' over the next several months, terrorist actions perpetrated by Trump-adjacent cells and incels against 'their own' (churches, anti-abortion 'birth consultants', gun stores, right-wing influencers, Chik-Fil-As and Hobby Lobbys) in an attempt to drum up sympathy for their cause.

We played UNO for penny stakes when my family would spend our July 4th holiday in an old cabin that was built around a 50s 5th wheel RV. The place just had a radio, telephone, and old copies of Reader's Digest.

Each point in UNO was worth a penny

My maternal grandmother was a card shark at UNO.

I'm getting a kick out of all of the UNO jokes. Thanks for bringing back the memories, Subby

Ah, I completely misunderstood, my apologies. Disregard my story.

This is the 'group' doing fake vandalism everywhere

Jane's Revenge probably isn't a real thing, but it should be.
