Advertising in its current form is the cancer that will kill humanity.  All of them are loaded up on black-hat psychology.

Give CNN's new boss to stay consistent in his affections.

Amazon makes $31 Billion a year on ads.  They really no longer care about selling goods, they care about the ads because that business is much simpler, and lucrative.

Weird thing is, I'd be surprised if Amazon doesn't advertise on CNN. Usually, online "news" orgs don't shiat in their own lunchboxes, which is why I don't typically use them as serious news sources.

Fark has Zillow ads posting as Headlines, floating ads, and ads that shift the page from right under my finger as I try to use the navigation. Fark needs to make money however it can, but it's something for a Fark headline to be pointing out some other site's ads issues.

Really? because the distribution centers they keep building aren't for ads

There are similar

Stock gets its value from labor
Crypto gets its value by the numbers of users using it.  If nobody used cash then paper money/coins would fade away and everything would be plastic and digital.
But then again, to do anything on ethereum you have to spend ETH, which increases its value.
