Sadly, in spite of the inevitable grift, we do need to build more fabs in this country.
Having something like ~80% of the worlds highest technology semiconductors made in Taiwan is not a great thing in the long term.

And you do it on your own dime.

Fairly soon we can add Fetterman and hopefully Warnock to this kind of list.  It's an excellent start.

Right, what was the other part of the strike that was voted on that didn't pass?  Maybe they didn't agree with ending the strike when the workers didn't get the sick leave they were bargaining for?  I wonder why you didn't mention that part, probably didn't fit the narrative you were trying to spin.

Come on. I'm a firm believer in Socialism, but the lady was right. The government only has so much money without taking more from taxpayers. That's not an infinite well.

If you think the money should be spent on things other than strategic industry, I might agree. I'm especially sympathetic when contractors find ways to rake us over the coals with cost overruns, delays and lousy results.

I hope they all come around, but I have no reason to believe he's the one right around the corner. I'd be working on Stabinow and Peters in Michigan first, other Union states, California, NY, etc. Union states and safe states. I'd love Warnock to jump on board, but the Union/safe state Senators should be the first targets.
