I've heard of someone being kicked out of hospice for not dying fast enough. Makes me wonder why they went in.

This is America.  We're all about finding ways to profit.

The exact sentiment I stopped in to comment on.

I watch this show called The Night Gallery on my low-rent TV channel, maybe you know of it.  Not too bad, they have a lot of stars in it.  Science fiction and psychological stories.

So this military guy is put into hibernation and doen't wake up for 75 years or so.  Long enough for big changes, but not so long that he can't get along.  And he discovers that all the men in the world are dead--there was a big war (started by them, of course) that wiped out a lot of them, then there was some sort of plague that only killed men. So they were all dead, and male babies died too, although they had enough stored sperm for 1000 years or something.  We do, too, don't we?  Already. Wouldn't want that man to wink out and die!

So they're all upset about this man, but they remember men, and before long, all the women are acting like women, and trying to flirt with the man, and fark him, and they fight for his attention.  Then the man finds out that there is a river not too far that has been dammed up by another tribe of women, so that this tribe has no hydropower.  And the leader is like, It's fine, we get enough water, and they grow the crops for us, and we trade.  Oh no way, this is not good enough, says the man.  And they start fighting over it.  The man says that they have to go get some more water, so they have hydropower for things, and then the other tribe shows up, and the fight begins.  Before you know it, a few women get killed.

So the woman have a big meeting and they kill the guy.  I mean let's not mince words.  They say that men are bad for the world, they can't live within its restraints, they fight for power, they have to control everything, and they never stop trying to get more of everything. So they need to be killed, for the good of what is left.

And I thought that I came up with that all by myself.  And there it was, in some show from 1990, kind of melodramatic, but it wasn't wrong.  And we haven't changed one thing since then, except that women now are able to be just as capitalistic and greedy as men are, just about.  That's all they farking wanted--oh wait no, I want a babyyyyyy too!

Ladies, if you want a better world, you don't go fark the guy who is killing it off and take a job from him. Your baby has no future, and neither do you.

That's  not science fiction, that's how biology works.  And men took it and distorted it so that they could be the way they are, and we're all supposed to be in awe of what they have wrought.
Look and be amazed!   In less than 2000 years, we've gone from a sort of paradise, to fighting for our collective lives. And we're going to keep right on doing it the way that men want to do it, because they won't ALLOW anything else to happen.

That's all.   Remember this in 50 years, kids. It was all your goddamn fault.

Lifespan is shortening thanks for Republican policies and increased consumption of processed foods/added sugar.

So if you don't change your lifestyle habits, you can rely on you, your family and friends to use hospice 5-10 years sooner than expected.

Dead serious.

Read the article, or if no: Because the company that runs a hospice can make a shiatton of money for healthier people assigned to its care long-term.

It is time for the next evolution in human business endeavors. Which is wherever you can opt to do business with cooperatives and non-profits do it, and shun the for-profits as much as possible.

Medical services, as a human right, should be banned from being for-profit ventures. That won't fix everything but it will put us on a path to making things better.
