As people mentioned above there are some quality shows left off but overall this is a pretty good list. Other shows I would add:

COBRA
Karen Pirie
North Sea Connection (Irish/Belgian co-production)

I've seen most of these shows except Vigil and C.B. Strike (both are on my list to watch).

Giri/Haji was my favorite show of 2021 but I'd watch anything with Kelly MacDonald.

The Capture is excellent and season 2 was great.

Marcella was kind of a miss for me as there are a lot of better shows.

I love Nicola Walker and she is great in the role of Annika but the format is one crime per episode (I'm sure there is a Hollywood term for that) which deflates the drama a bit.

Really enjoyed Broadchurch.
Also really really liked The Worricker Trilogy.
Not really crime even though there is some in it, it's a different type of spy series.

I'm ok with that so long as there is an overlapping background behind it.  For example in Longmire a lot of the murders weren't connected to each other but were all tied in some way to the corruption that was seeping into the county and Native reserve.

Guess I better check what's on Acorn and BritBox before I cancel them...

Decent list, some ones I haven't seen, definitely some good ones mentioned in the thread already as well.

I'm sorry, Idris and Ruth Wilson were fantastic, but Luther went off the rails completely by about ep. 4. Be prepared to check your credulity at the door, it's wildly far fetched even for the UK.

One of Idris Elba's earliest works was Ultraviolet.

LANDSCAPERS is on HBO/HBOMAX and is just *chef's kiss* a perfect vehicle for Olivia Colman and David Thewlis.    It is super-creepy watching them try to drag the cops up and down the courts.

They've got their story and they're sticking to it.

I like them about the same, Neil made a very smart call by not trying to copy John and just going his own way. I have just *one* little niggle and it's with the chemistry between Neal and the actress who plays his wife. I don't think they have any.

Going through the list again, why is Sherlock there? It's not really a procedural like the others.  If you're doing that, then might as well list:
Agatha Raisin
Shakespeare and Hathaway
Whitstable Pearl
Mrs Fishers Murder Mysteries
Brokenwood Mysteries
Pie in the Sky

I'd include Poirot.

The series ran for decades. David Suchet made the first episode was made when Margaret Thatcher was still PM.
