I still want a thorough investigation of his time at Clemson.  These behaviors don't develop overnight, they emerge from years of power imbalances and being insulated from consequences.

fark Deshaun Watson and everyone who roots for him.

(And I say that as someone who was impressed with his demeanor early in his career: donating game checks to people who'd lost their homes, explaining plays and concepts to female reporters as if they were as knowledgeable as their male peers [because they were, and he respectfully treated them as such], etc.)

More likely than not, no one shows up. And in a weird way, I think that would be the perfect outcome.

Texans-Browns play in an empty stadium. No cheers, no boos, nothing except for sound of karma as Deshaun Watson suffers a Theismann-level injury, bones shattering, echoing and reverberating through the emptiness.

It will be for the players, coaches, refs and most certainly Deshaun Watson to only hear. The sound of karma snapping a human limb like a twig in a tornado.

For him, to exit the field to nothing except that sound of bone breaking echoing forever in his head.

I will never root for an injury, and certainly nothing as gruesome as described. But for Deshaun Watson, I will make an exception.

Half the Commonwealth had no problems rooting for a serial rapist as quarterback of the Steelers for a couple decades.
