A RWNJ co-worker assures me RD is gonna sit pretty in his gov mansion and rule FL with his overwhelming win. I can see him waiting it out until 28. He can either take on Biden's legacy (which he'll be a leading voice in trashing the whole time) or become the DT47 follow up.
However he's an opportunist and a spiteful little turd, so I see him waiting as late as possible before his mind is really made. If (cuz if!) DT gets charged (and no criminal trial conclusion or legal determination of ineligibility to hold office will possibly happen before '24), he can step in anytime to be the savior of the party.

I fully expect DeSantis to be the nominee in 2024. The Murdoch media empire has already begun to push the idea so the GOP base will eventually fully support him as though TFG never happened.

This is a no-brainer. We should encourage a movement to get in behind Ye as candidate. Would be worth it just to see Donald's explosions.

But seriously, we should work to encourage extremist GOP candidates, just as we should encourage MAGA land to start a new party if Trump is spurned as GOP nominee.

Ye is bipolar, and clearly isn't properly medicated at this moment, so he would be a threat to national security. And, like tfg**, has no experience whatsoever for the job. He also hasn't launched a campaign as of yet.

tfg** knows a good grift when he sees one, and wouldn't mind simply campaigning for the rest of his life. He has no discernible platform and failed to perform the duties of the office; he just wants to raise and steal funds, avoid prosecution, and get back at his enemies.

desantis is a despicable human being that might win the nomination by default.

If these are the frontrunners, this party should strongly consider folding for the good of the republic.
