Unfortunately if you exclude "nationalizing the banksters" which would probably have resulted in a de facto coup by their backers, if not an actual coup (c.f. Business Plot), saving them from their avarice was the only way to save America.

Where the Democrats failed was serious legislation to prevent them from farking everyone with their gambling again.

Why are people in the GQP all of a sudden all concerned about this s*** --- how is this any different than "good people on both sides" in Charlottesville? Or the dozen or so other racist comments incidents?

Or Jan 6th? Extorting an ally for political gain in America? Or all the other myriad things this f***ing guy has done, and for which Republicans have given him a pass for -- repeatedly, again, and again, and again....

It was Bush's bailout when people were complaining about little people losing everything while bank executives were protected. I guess they think the optics have improved if now they're trying to give Obama credit for it.

Another acceptable answer is the bank that is constantly stymied by the Minneapolis branch's weird eastern reach that captures three major economic areas.
