The GOP keeps looking for voter fraud. Turns out it seems largely to be committed by the GOP.

You know the saying: every accusation, a confession.

I'm still so goddamn sick and tired of being called a groomer for being a bisexual furry by people with very vocal opinions about how the age of consent is too high.

Don't throw the first punch. Don't start a fight but finish iat.

There are certain things you should never do unless they are done to you first and then you are free to let loose. Democrats won, everyone I know didn't vote for Democrats, therefore they must have cheated. Let slip the dogs of cheating, disenfranchisement, and access. Which is okay because they started it

"My job was to protect the integrity of the elections," Brown said in court on Wednesday. "There were steps that I could have taken that would have done that in a better (way). There were things going on that I should have questioned, and I didn't."

It sounds from the indictment and her statement like this woman was either lied to, tricked, or manipulated by Clerk Peters into misrepresenting who would be at the software update. Which allowed Peters to get her guy in so they could steal the election software.

She still committed a crime because it was her job as an election manager to know & record everyone who is in the room and secure the election. But she was also being told or directed or lied to into doing it by her boss, an elected official. I honestly empathize with her - glad she's doing the right thing now and getting Peters's malfeasance out into the open.

Also: this is what real, actual election fraud would look like. And how truly impossible it is to commit it here on even a small county or precinct scale. Too many eyes, too many everyday people just doing their little jobs. Too many volunteers & civic-minded folks who love their country & community. The notion that there's ever been widespread election fraud here in the US is laughable.

Actually, reading further into the sequence of events around this, it appears she was an active participant in the scheme.

Yeah, no, screw her. She's getting a deal to mail Peters to the wall along with the CA guy they snuck in who stole the software.

Amazing how a night or two in actual jail breaks through the sanctimonious masks of these self-described "Patriots". We should do this more often.

The coolest thing around is not giving an F.

Since you're heading into nanopotsie territory of the Fonzie scale of coolness, I really don't think you're in a position to dictate what is, or is not, cool.

🤷‍♀

Using a 48 year old sitcom to measure coolness is totally cool.

If convicted, Peters could be sentenced to a prison term.

Like all of these politically motivated crimes, they all thought they were the good guys. They always do. No fascist ever turned to their people and said, "Ok, we are the force of evil" "YAY!", "we are wrong" "Yay!", "let's go harm our nation" "Yay!"

Far past time for the republicans and Klan to face actual justice; justice that they can't kidnap witnesses to make go away.

Certainly not.

That said: you'd think that when it starts getting to the point that you're lying to other govt officials, deactivating & turning off security apparatus, and/or falsifying gov't documents that it might begin to dawn on you that you're not doing the right things.
