Despite a slow start, this season has turned out pretty good. Not as good as last season (I have a soft spot for Eclipso since he figured in a fanfic I wrote way back in the early 1990s to, among other things, fix Armageddon: 2001), but not bad. I'm gonna miss this series.

One more season of The Flash, and Superman and Lois, are all that remain of the Arrowverse after next Wednesday.

A Rita Farr cameo in this flashback would have been funny.

Dolores Winters and Miles Standish!

Ultra-Humanite not ultra-humane.

Kinda hard to argue.

Where's Rick?  I think he's now in Requiem for A Dream.

Sylvester talking about all the JSA with no legacies shows how much potential this series had left in it.

Star-spangled asshole!

A brief appearance from The Spectre seems in order.

Okay, that's a twist.

Worse than that, apparently.

Come to think of it, how would The Spectre even have been killed by the ISA? He was already dead and in his afterlife, and the whole ISA put together with the possible exception of The Wizard couldn't even so much as hinder him.

Okay, now I'm really ticked about this being canceled! This is some great writing for network TV.

I anticipate a double or triple cross before this is all over.

Okay, this is bad.

A lot to pack into 40-something minutes. That's all that remains of the series.

Did anyone see this coming?

COMALite J: Did anyone see this coming?

I thought Sylvester was the bad guy with the cameras but never thought about Icicle or UH.  So, not me.

The way they showed the flashback scenes as "Sylvester" (UH) was burying Pat, and the scene where Courtney figures out from Pat having told Rick to remove the limiter ― the clues were there. They played fair with us. I love this kind of writing.

The fanfic I mentioned in the b00bies was my own attempt at something like that. So long ago now.

Oops ― I mean Sylvester having told Rick to remove the limiter.

I was ready to give up on Arrow til Ollie shot a boxing glove arrow at Ted Grant.

My pet idea for the finale is that Grundy comes back and helps the kids, leveling the playing field against giant gorilla.

He or The Shade are about the only beings I could think of who could save Pat at this point (unless they do a nigh-literal Deus ex machina with The Spectre). But since next week is the series finale, maybe they kill off Pat. They killed off Brainwave Jr. after all, who was a major character in Infinity, Inc. from which this series is partly derived, and teased his return only it turned out to be his evil dad.
