Those cones must have weight, like, 350 lbs each, at least.

Is this where all the farkers who hate self-checkouts because they take jobs come out of the woodwork and complain that it would have taken 10 guys to do that?

How much did Renkivian pay for that ad?

Ad is fake. No one works outdoors in the rain.

The broom and the cones... that's awesome.  But why were the other guys even there?

If I had had any sense as a kid getting out of high school, I would have gone to a vocational school to become a certified heavy equipment operator.

I decided to go to college and get an engineering degree instead.

We all make mistakes.

Same here, but I was thinking plumbing, locksmithing, etc.

Oh, I have a *lot* of memories of working outdoors in the rain back on the farm.  Mending fences, herding cattle, spreading manure - *many* things that have to get done regardless of weather.

Working outdoors at thirty degrees below zero Fahrenheit to repair a broken gutter cleaner was also a load of fun.  Because a dairy barn has to be kept clean, and you can't let the shiat pile up.

I love using heavy equipment. Easily the best part of my job.
Now, i don't do precision work quite like that.
But I do land URD transformers with the bucket's D ring, or pull reeled cable off with a dinghy (spinner). The flatdeck truck with a chicken wing crane is a blast to use.
My boss just had this one delivered to my office:

Otherwise most days I'm using a backhoe like these:

I have a great job. Big, fun toys.
