God UNESCO is stupid these days. They worship the dumbest things and ignore things that should be there but wont be because "reasons". Where are all the african countries on the list huh UNESCO?


Seriously, go look at their list for intangible heritage. It has manual bell ringing from spain, camel racing from  the UAE, and Hurling from Ireland. Once you look that up you will realize that yes, they have a weird prototype version of lacrosse on the list

I'm assuming Wonder Bread is still out there, although I admit I haven't really looked in decades.  Ate a lot of WB from the Day Old bread store as a kid.

Would a baguette stand up against Miracle Whip and packed in oil tuna? WB certainly didn't, but lunch was brown bag lunch and neither of the grade schools I attended had cafeterias or vending machines (not that I had much ready cash back then).
