Nothing wrong with the 44, 22 on the other hand is a death trap. Me personally, I'm not getting into a chopper anymore unless it's Marine One. Flew the 44 a few times until I saw one undergoing an annual, looked at the average IQ in the room full of trumper mechanics and realized it will never be put back together properly. It's simply not possible to do.

But he's being charged for lying and coverup

What they were doing was risky, and they had to know that, unless the chopper was not in compliance for whatever governs AUS aviation, why lie?
