The last 4-5 seasons of the Walking Dead (after Rick left) were so cringeworthy I actually DIDN'T look forward to watching them.  EVERY SINGLE TIME Eugene was on the screen I fast forwarded it.  By the end, I was just relieved that I wouldn't have to waste any more time on that show.

Yes, I know some people will say it sucked after (insert season here), but I stuck with it.  Wanted to see how it would end.  SOOOO disappointed and glad heads have rolled.

/The spin-off was even worse
//Talking Dead even worse than that
///Watching the last few years almost made me as nauseous as that time I watched that Ronald Reagan film

"a large-scale layoffs" and substantial "cuts to every operating area" at the company, which is now searching for a new CEO. The board is "confident" the cuts "will enable AMC Networks to come through this period even stronger and to be well positioned to drive future growth over the long term."

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that AMC isn't funneling current content into Hulu or another conglomerate digital platform and is instead insisting on their own stand-alone offering that you can add-on or bundle for extra $$.

I gave up when they reached the prison. After sitting around at the farmhouse, doing no "walking", the show got boring as fark. The prison seemed to be the same exact thing. It just seemed really slow.

Netflix does the same thing. Amazon Prime. Starz. HBO Max. Why is it so bad that AMC does the same thign?

I stuck with it also. I'm no quitter. 😂
My wife and I just had it on for the last season because I'm just the personality that needs closure.
But that last episode sucked so bad and was such a slap in the face to people like us, I'm pretty positive they lost subscribers. I've read some of the comments in their Facebook page and it's 60% hate.
Heck, it's the only thing worth watching (except That Dirty Black Bag, but that's not really must see tv).
Them giving people 3 more walking dead series is great if it were 5 years ago, but I think they burned so much credit they built by giving people third tier character plots, I think it's over for them for a while.

I didn't even get through the pilot episode of The Walking Dead. Rick Grimes ended up in a hospital and the show never bothered explaining how long he was in there for? Boring.

I really tried to finish the entire run, just for completion-ist sake.  But I gave up after the what I think were the first few episodes of the final season where they spent 2 or 3 episodes walking in dark subway tunnels where you couldn't really see what was going on, and then when they left the tunnels, they were instantly attacked in complete darkness, so you couldn't see what was going on. And the other side story going on all this time for something like 8 episodes was the bureaucracy of the Commonwealth interviews. I just gave up on that.

This the same channel that would try to charge their viewers to watch older episodes of BCS even when they were paying for the channel to begin with?

Huh, it is.  fark em.

It got worse.  Much much worse.  Wish I'd followed in your footsteps.

Because they have a single-digit percentage of those apps amount of content, and they still have commercials.  Neither of those facts add up to value.
