$48,000 pounds in damage?  I recently replaced all the floors in my house for $10k.   What did this guy do?

48k sounds like copmath. That said, a 50 year old grown-ass man acting up like a child is one more example of the lack of maturity crisis affecting the supposedly developed world. Grow the f*ck up

That is oddly specific considering the article had no information to that effect. Care to enlighten us?

Also, the *only* truly good scenes in Bad Grampa were the vending machine (should've garnered an X-rating) and of course the much spoiled climax with the fat kid in drag at the child beauty pageant dancing to Warrant's "Cherry Pie". Honestly I was mad I had to wait for over an hour of mediocre pranking to have that belly laugh.

Judging by the pictures, that entire room wasn't worth 48k, nevermind the cheap-ass pressboard furniture.

Hotels charge you $15 for a $1 bottle of water. It shouldn't surprise you when they charge you 20k for breaking a tv they bought 20 years ago.

52?  I mean, you can be even under 40 an be a "grandpa".   I'm not going to give it a "Bad Grandpa" vibe unless the guys at least 65... this guy is just a garden-variety idiot.

That's Motley Crue level hotel room damage

I live in hotels, tear out the walls
I have accountants pay for it all
They say I'm crazy but I have a good time

What did it look like after he trashed it?

It did say the water from the shower was leaking into rooms below.  So it's at least two rooms damaged that will need water damage remediation.  Still seems excessive at 48k.

Oddly enough the bathroom picture doesn't have any visible standing water though.  Debris and particles on the floor, none of it floating or shiny like it's wet.
