(Twitter)   Charlie Kirk says Republicans did poorly in Arizona because their voters think elections are rigged and didn't show up to the polls. I wonder who could've given them that idea?   (twitter.com) divider line

Oh they were rigged. And they'll be rigged next time, too.  Better just stay home or move to Florida if you want to live in a right-wing utopia for as long as it remains above water.

Too bad.
Polls are closed.

Fatass with the Trump bumper sticker out front should have told ya

And for every GOP voter that decided to sit this one out, his face shrunk three sizes that day.

Why? That would take effort, and more to the point evidence can be refuted. They're much better off with feelings and proof they'll show you in two weeks.

Well I figure even the most dense Republican has to realize if Trump could swing this voter fraud crap, no one else has a chance either.

This tweet was referenced by the Maricopa County Attorney in their response to the Assistant AZ Attorney General asking questions.

The secure Door 3 option has been a decades-long practice in Maricopa County. Despite this being a legal, secure, and reliable voting option, many high profile and influential individuals instructed voters to not deposit their ballots in Door 3. Consequently, some voters refused to use this viable voting option.

The whole "you can't trust voting!" argument shows just how scattershot and disorganized the GOP are.  Who did they think they would convince not to vote?  Democrats?  It's obvious on its face that a tactic like that is going to disproportionately suppress the votes of the party who made the claim, because their followers are the ones who would be most likely to believe it.  It's beyond pants-on-tiny-face stupid.

It's much easier to get people to try to overthrow their government if they think that it's faking it's voting results.

Yep. And Trump spreading lies about voter fraud in Georgia depressed Republican turnout in the 2020 GA runoff and gave us the Senate, and he is doing it again in 2022 to help us pick up a seat.

Please, proceed.

But it's delusional to try and overthrow the government in the first place.  These guys are not even reality-adjacent.

If Maricopa is, like, 60%+ Democratic, you'd think these idiots would be all for getting rid of as many of their ballots as possible, lol.

Charlie Kirk says there was a poor Republican turnout in AZ because their voters think elections are rigged: "400,000 people that voted for Trump in 2020 did not show up or vote for the midterm election."
So, roughly the same number that died from refusing the vaccine?

I have half a mind to try and survive until I'm in my 80's and see what happens when people like Kirk are the "elders", the brain-trust of their party. It would be *hilarious* to see, but terrifying to contemplate.

Does the fact that fewer voters typically show up for midterms have anything to do with it?  Asking for a friend.

400,000 2020 tfg voters sat 2022 out? Welcome to mid-term elections. Pay attention next time.

If Fark is anything to go by, the whole 'why bother voting the other side is just going to ignore/invalidate/rig it!' crowd is quite loud on both sides.

Also, Arizona went blue (just barely) in 2020.  It went blue (just barely) in 2022.  Seems to me it didn't change a friggin thing.
