The USPS said volunteers will be asked to browsethrough letters to Santa and "adopt" the ones they "love."

The other children will receive a form letter, informing them that no one loves them.

Hubby had a Santa suit and a beard pre-pandemic, so he played Santa for a pet rescue to help with adoptions.  None of the dogs peed on him.

I could not do that. The temptation to write something nasty would be too strong. I am not a people person. And especially not a kid person.
