I switched to Coquito. Tastes twice as good and doesn't have that "sloppy weekend at the bathhouse" throat feel.

Eggnog from the store is overwhelmingly sweet and thick, plus the flavoring is noticably artificial. Even when I cut it down with milk, there's still something off about it.

One year I made Alton Brown's egg nog. It was actually pretty good. Maybe it was the bourbon.
