That's a remarkably cute way to locate the child owner of a toy.

Monkey and Mrs Elephant became fast friends

Yeah, I'm "fast friends" with a lady as well. Good job!

Gonna have to show this story to my daughter, might give her story ideas...

CSB: Back when she was about 3, my daughter was having nightmares, and I wanted to figure out a way to get her to stop having them. Being that this is entirely in your mind, I had to get creative. 'Nanners came to the rescue. :-) One of her first stuffed animals was a monkey, and at 14, she stills is strongly bonded to it. I decided to give him a job. I told her that he was her Dream Guardian, and he was going to enter her dreams to guide her through them. Never another nightmare...

My daughter has a strong imagination, so I'm trying to foster writing in her, she has all of these ideas in her head, just hasn't put any to paper. A couple of years back, she told me the story she had of 'Nanners having to enter the dream realm to save his girl, who had been stuck in the dream world. She had all of these adventures, even a title: A Toy's Promise. She even came up with her first chapter title: The past through the Future, which is a great title for the initial backstory setup. Mind you, she came up with these when she was like 9 or 10...

Like I said, this story might give her a few more ideas. Now to just get her to actually start writing. :-)
