A banking charter is a license to print money, kinda sorta. It's a really big deal to get one. Seems like a bank door into that. Definitely shady as f*ck.

We're lucky he failed when he did because it looks like between this and the derivative plays they wanted to do, they could have caused a metric sh*t ton of damage.
