Bought a new Ohio State shirt yesterday. It is listed as a medium but really, it is a smedium at best and that is being generous. I put it on and got a compliment on my nipples. As always, I kept the receipt.

For the first time since 2004 I'm legitimately concerned about winning.

I'll joke around about passing being bad and blah blah blah but there is an element of belief that goes along with that sentiment. The weather, thank Woody, is not supposed to be shiatty today. It just seems that sometimes we get a touch too pass-happy, too cute, and then when it doesn't work, we keep doing it. I can't tell you that I know football like real coaches and players do but man, don't overcomplicate things and just run the farking ball.

Next to over eight thousand kills with the riot shield in one of the Call of Duty games, an 86/14 run/pass ratio for online games for one version of NCAA Football is my proudest achievement in life and I think that should be reflected on the field when it comes to calling plays.

To the best of my knowledge, the NCAA Football '14 Online Dynasty is still active but I had to drop years ago when whatever version of the X-Box it was died. Really wish I could fire it up and play somebody right about now, too bad we'll have to wait until 2024 at the earliest.

Only within the past year or two did I learn that the whole "Because I couldn't go for three/Because they wouldn't let me go for three" thing is just a wee bit inaccurate.

Slightly busy or I'd dig it up but going for two was done due to injuries, not to stick it to Michigan. There are no records of the cited quote or any rough version of it related to the 1968 game made at the time, only later. There was a time when Woody Hayes went for two late in the game just to rub it in against them, that much is true, but if the quote is real it is unlikely that it was from 1968. That said...

I love rivalry weekend. I don't have a dog in the Midwest fight, so I just hope I can watch a good football game. Georgia Tech could absolutely ruin Georgia's season, and that would be wonderfully petty in the way that only a rivalry game can be.

I'm a UTSA guy, but we've only been playing since 2011. We don't have generational hate built up. Grandparents can explain the significance of a proper rivalry game. As it should be.

I don't usually post in these threads, just lurk, but I am happy to see my Jackets still with the lead in the second quarter. The team has been completely different since getting rid of Collins. It's like watching a real football team with uniforms and everything.
