No GOP response of how the president is abusing his authority and avoiding the topic of election fraud?

Interesting how Bartlett would deal with the GQP, an entity he could not shame into submission nor back down from his umbrage.

I susect that he would have lost the first few rounds, but then come out with a systematic dismantling in a televised debate.

Some combination of his "when the President stands, NOBODY sits" and "give me the next ten words, and I'll drop out right now"

The only reason we have them at all is a combination of an incredibly unlikable Democratic candidate, significant numbers of Progressive protest votes in swing states, and our stupid Electoral College system. Only one of those would have been an issue with Bartlett. He would have carried the primary and general in 2016 handily.

Why are there not dozens and dozens of posters here expressing euphoric nerdish glee at the "West Wing" marathon currently airing on HLN and how it's dragging them away from important things in life, such as sleeping, bathing and having enlightening holiday discussions with in-laws?

That was the only 3 minutes of The West Wing I've ever seen but I got a feeling the rest of the show is not like that. Correct me if I'm wrong

No, that's fairly typical.

That's pretty on point for the first few seasons. It's gets a little ridiculous at the end of the series.

It's typical of the first five seasons.  Then NBC agreed to renew only if showrunner Aaron Sorkin wasn't part of the deal so he left.  It was pretty good after that, but not great.
