The US Virgin Islands has to be one of if not the most alcoholic place in the US. Back in the 1980s a fifth of rum cost $1.29 in convenience stores that sold it 24/7 all year round except till 4pm Good Friday, during which only beer can be sold. Down there if a tourist in the morning orders a "Virgin Bloody Mary" they are informed that is called a "Bloody Shame" in the islands.

Sandeman Founders Reserve. I'm not really well versed in ports but I like the bottle and it pairs well with chocolate and cheese ... and Whiskey.

Just checked online and my grocery store has over a dozen brands of Bloody Mary mix. (why? why? why? why??? and --- eyeing my neighbors with great suspicion)

But they do NOT have this.

I guess my holidays will be incomplete.

Just tomato juice seasoned with garlic, oregano, and maybe fennel. I'd dig on summat.

I didn't know that they had that on offer. My airplane drink of choice was tomato juice until I looked at the nutrition information and discovered that what I was drinking was essentially a glass of slightly moist salt.

No it's not.  That's just what they call them in commonwealth countries because, well, while Queen Mary did murder a lot of people, it would be impolite.

Bloody Mary.  Named for Mary, by the Grace of God, Queen of England, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, and of the Church of England and of Ireland on Earth Supreme Head.

And don't ever forget it!

I've never had one of those crazy Bloody Maries with a whole plate of food in them. I'd would love to have one though.
