I took the Jets and the points.  The moneyline isn't worth betting the Jets straight up.

Buses on revenge tours have a bad habit of breaking down roughly two miles into the trip, especially when doofus players and coaches pay more attention to running their mouths than playing the games.

When the Jets play the Pats, I root for Giant Meteor. Or, Just Big Enough to Take Out a Patch of Grass 50 Yards by 100 Yards Without Hurting Spectators Meteor.

I'm with Giant Meteor. I don't want the Jets to hang around that long, and I can't root for the Pats out of sheer principle. I'm enjoying their "qb controversy" between two sh*tty quarterbacks though.

Jets also lost their two best offensive players (most talented skill position player, most talented offensive lineman). May also be without their top WR. Their QB is pretty terrible.

As a Jets fan, I assume the worst until I see otherwise. Last time the Jets were favored against the Patriots was 2011.

Last time the Jets beat the Patriots as a favorite, Mo Lewish knocked out their starting QB and they brought in their no-name 6th round draft pick loser QB to finish the game (poorly, I might add). That was embarrassing for the Pats.

I guess everyone keeps expecting the Jets to regress to the mean, but I kinda like having Gang Green around bullying the other teams. This season they seem .... plucky. You know, like Finland. Anyway I hope the Jets win the f*cking Super Bowl - why not? I have a longer list of the teams I don't want to win anyway.

The odds makers are not at all sold on either the Giants or the Jets.  Last week they had the Giants +3 points against the freaking Jaguars.  That was an easy pick.
