Nicholas D. Wolfwood: ... Have ya SEEN Donald Trump?

What are the odds they put Walker up for a run in the Senate so there could be a Trump/Walker ticket in 2024?

2022-10-28 4:21:27 PM
Roy Moore got a Democrat elected in freaking Alabama, I'm going with him

2022-10-28 4:23:30 PM
Is Herschel Walker the worst candidate the Republicans have ever run?

No! No, I won't have that!

There's a candidate in Eastbourne.

2022-10-28 4:23:34 PM
There are worse candidates but they run in much safer districts.

2022-10-28 4:24:12 PM

anjin-san: Roy Moore got a Democrat elected in freaking Alabama, I'm going with him

If Moore was running today he'd probably win.  Things have slid that fast.

2022-10-28 4:24:43 PM
I was going to say "Obviously!" But then I realized that there are plenty of awful people that could compete for the title of Worst Republican Candidate Ever.

2022-10-28 4:25:57 PM
Its the standing in the front dressed stupidly and looking stupid party.

2022-10-28 4:25:59 PM
Headline ends with a question and counterexamples are upthread. No matter how terrible a candidate is, there is always a worse one

2022-10-28 4:26:04 PM
I would have said he's definitely the dumbest, but then I remembered that guy from Texas.  No not Cruz, he's booksmart, ol' Louis Gohmert.  IQ-wise they're probably close, but Louis has that swagger that just puts him over the top.

2022-10-28 4:26:21 PM
Ask Georgia.  You know, the state where this POS has too much support.

2022-10-28 4:27:07 PM
There are no wrong answers.

2022-10-28 4:27:14 PM
Gee, nowadays many GOP candidates would make this a list too big to manage. Any Republican spouting off about THE BIG LIEautomatically qualifies.

2022-10-28 4:27:20 PM
Without question he is the worst.

In their "pursuit" of diversity. Good job 🤮

Its just more stigginit - to black folk more than anyone. Of all the African American Georgia Republicans this was the best you could come up with??

anjin-san: Roy Moore got a Democrat elected in freaking Alabama, I'm going with him

And John Aschroft lost to a dead guy didn't he? He was pretty shiatty too.

2022-10-28 4:29:53 PM
Walker's like when the GOP ran a black man against Obama in Illinois cuz apparently black is what people wanted.

Might work this time though.

2022-10-28 4:30:11 PM
Yes we all know conservatives care about power over anything else. They'll accept politicians that empower them to control others even if those politicians don't abide by the same rules.

2022-10-28 4:32:01 PM
Trump, Walker, Moore, Palin all top tier unqualified for the job disasters waiting to happen, some of which, did.

John Ashcroft lost to a dead candidate, so that's an honorable mention "worst candidate"

2022-10-28 4:32:05 PM
I'd put GWB as even worse than Walker.  Trump is worse than anyone living or dead in the history of human civilization, so yeah he's worse than Walker also.

2022-10-28 4:32:37 PM

ChimpMitten: anjin-san: Roy Moore got a Democrat elected in freaking Alabama, I'm going with him

Well gas went up 20 cents, so...

2022-10-28 4:34:11 PM
Since he could win, no. Winning is all that matters to them.

2022-10-28 4:36:31 PM
As far as we know, Walker isn't a traitor like Dump or the Moscow 6, or a pedophile (like Dump and Roy Moore and PedoGaetz and Gym Jordan and Hastert and...) or a sociopath like Cruz and Paul Ryan.

He stepped into the spotlight and the consequences of abusing athletic privilege aka "farking anything that moves" are coming to light, but neither his being abusive nor being an absolutely unshakeable hypocrite are the slightest bit out of character for the GQP.

Which is why the GQP is the greatest threat the United States has ever faced.

He'd put the vice back in vice president.

These guys grew up listening to Bible stories about David.  Incredibly flawed, murderous, yet was still favored by God.  A king that reflected the sinful nature of man that God could still forgive and love. It is a testament to God's ability to work his will through anybody.

To these guys, their political platform is God's will.  As long as a candidate can be a vessel to accomplish those ends?  It doesn't matter what he does in his personal life.  It doesn't matter how many women he's slept with, how many abortions he paid for.  If he reliably represents God's will (stopping abortions, gays, and socialism) in office, that is all that matters.

It's always about the ends.  Always.  In their minds they are stopping the murder of literal babies and preventing the country from becoming Sodom and Gomorrah.  They're stopping a literal army of evil that wants to outlaw God and force children to become trans vegans.  Yeah, they're going to support the incompetent, immoral idiot.

Dumber and Paste-Eater 2024, you mean.

Dude definitely gives Trump a run for his money.

Republicans are so desperate to push black people front and center to prove that they're not racist, that they don't stop to check if they're raving loons that'll yell about the Jews.

/George would agree.

And yet no matter what Walker is accused of, up to and including acts many Republicans define as murder, he retains the support of the Republican party, and his race for a Georgia Senate seat remains a tight one.

That's because these asshats refuse to even entertain the idea that they made a bad decision. On ANYTHING.

Hypocrisy is a laudable quality in the minds of Republican voters. They like the obvious hypocrisy because it outrages libz and that is when the entire USA is here for, to make libz cry. That is the only function of government and as long as it makes libz cry, then government is properly functioning, even if it means selling nuclear secrets to arab terrorists and compromising our national security so Jared can have a building paid for.

Sadly, no, he's probably not.

David Duke was the Republican nominee for Senate in Louisiana in 1990 and the Republican nominee for Governor in 1991. He got blown out by double digits. Nowadays, he would win.

2022-10-28 5:18:26 PM
It's a sliding scale. The GOP has gotten exponentially worse since Roy lost

That said, don't forget how the Party did actually reinstate their full-throated support for him after briefly attempting to distance themselves from him. So this was another milestone in their descent into deeper depravity.

Not even close.

So they'll jettison Walker once they get their way?

2022-10-28 5:41:14 PM
Worst how?

Most incompetent at responding to basic questions and building coherent sentences?
Possibly.

Worst human?
Absolutely not. There are enough war criminals and child molesters to knock him out of consideration.

2022-10-28 5:42:40 PM
>Walker embodies everything the Republican party has claimed to oppose: violent crime, abortion, homes broken by absentee fathers, race-based affirmative action and straight-up incompetence.

It's a "Big Tent" party now.

Is this one of the candidates the Democrats were secretly propping up in the primaries, thinking they would never lose against such a terrible choice?

Trump was easily the worst president of my lifetime, but he clearly wasn't a bad candidate. He beat 19 gop challengers and a seasoned Democrat in 2016, all of whom were worse candidates than him by definition.

I like the cut of this woman's jab

David Duke was pretty bad. There have been many.

I wonder what the Democratic/Left/Liberal version of this list has seen. I thought Hair McIllinois was pretty bad (can't remember his name - Governor who auctioned off Obamas Senate Seat).
